Welcome to Little Blackbird
We are Ade and Claire Dakers and we established Little Blackbird in 2022. We are a Well-Being focused organisation based in Chester, who offer impactful Training, Workshops and Social Value projects, across Business, Education & Community settings.
Specialising in masculinity and well-being, our mission is to positively challenge cultures and beliefs by delivering programmes that improve communication, strengthen emotional intelligence and explore the power of vulnerability. We are committed to encouraging and supporting personal development and positive behaviour change.
We pride ourselves on our reputation as the team who can walk into a any boardroom, classroom or sports club and get everyone engaged and talking honestly and constructively about topics that really matter. We work with a wide spectrum of clients, from corporate leaders and teams, to school students and young athletes, to support and empower them in building resilience, emotional intelligence, and healthier expressions of masculinity.
In addition to the interventions we offer, we also host our podcast – “Tackling it Together” in which Ade sits down with male guests to promote honest and vulnerable connections and powerful conversations, demonstrating that two fellas can sit down and have an open and authentic chat without a pint. Our Podcast supports our key objectives around making a positive impact and challenging stigma and stereotypes relating to male well-being.
